PHOTOS: Lake effect snow falls softly on Chicago streets after the holiday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Downtown Chicago saw a dusting of snow around midday Thursday, when lake-effect flurries fell onto city streets and sidewalks.
Although chances for true accumulation were more likely Friday, the white stuff was a welcome sight after the holiday - and a winter season without measurable snowfall as of yet.
