WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) -- Art Van Furniture is teaming up with the American Red Cross to host a blood and bone marrow drive on Friday, Dec. 28 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

It was earlier this month when a metro Detroit baby featured on FOX 2 found a bone marrow match to help fight his rare form of leukemia.

There are still thousands of children and adults who need a bone marrow donation to save their lives, many in metro Detroit. You can give that gift by joining the National Bone Marrow Registry. Learn how at www.bethematch.org.

Art Van Furniture is located at 6500 East 14 Mile Road in Warren. Click here for more information.
