The Phoenix metro area, Casa Grande, and Gila Bend are under the warning.

Temperatures will dip down between the upper 20s to the middle 30s early Tuesday morning.

The last time it was 22 degrees in Phoenix on Dec. 31 was 1900.

Frost sensitive plants are vulnerable to damage, and should be covered.
