Suspect Hits Cop Car Head-On In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA -

A police officer escaped injury Wednesday morning after his cruiser was hit head-on in North Philadelphia.

It happened at 2:45 a.m. at Fifth Street and Sedgley Avenue.

Police say a suspect was driving the wrong way down Fifth Street when he hit the cop car.

Officers then chased and caught the suspect, who was taken to the hospital. We do not know his condition at this time.

No police officers were hurt.
