Rash Of Break-Ins Has Bucks County Residents Nervous

Posted: Updated:
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. -

People in Feasterville and Trevose are nervous after crooks hit house after house, ripping off jewelry and stealing away peace of mind.

The string of break-ins is plaguing folks all across Lower Southampton Township.

Police say two safes were busted open in a house on Shannon Way in Feasterville over New Year's. The creep got away with loads of pricey jewelry.

Just days before, police say, another home on Trevose Road was also hit, with more jewelry taken there. Neighbors worry they may be next.

Police say they've got some good leads on the thieves, and think they are coming over from Philly to go on a stealing spree in the suburbs.

FOX 29's Dave Kinchen filed this video report from the community, where neighbors are freaked out.
