LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A masseuse has been charged with prostitution for allegedly offering sex acts to an undercover police officer at a northwest suburban spa.
Three Lake County Sheriff's detectives went to the Dragon Spa in the 400 block of Peterson Road in Libertyville for hour-long massages on Tuesday afternoon, when Hong Yang offered to "massage one of the detectives genital area for an additional fee," according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
Yang, of the 300 block of Cermak Road in Chicago, was arrested about 1 p.m. Tuesday and charged with prostitution, according to sheriff's police.
Yang was ordered held on a $1,000 bond and was released after posting the required 10 percent, sheriff's police said.
She will be back in Lake County Court in Waukegan at 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 23.
