Elizabeth Banta and Chris Avore were aboard the Seastreak ferry that slammed into a pier in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday injuring 93 people.

Banta and Avore described the ordeal during Good Day NY on Thursday.

"We came to a crashing halt," said Banta.

"There really weren't too many cues that we were coming in too fast. As soon as the boat hit all the people who were standing were basically thrown. From there it was like damage control," said Avore.

At least 93 people were hurt. One of the victims was in critical condition with a head wound.
