PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect involved in a Monday night shooting who fled the scene on a SEPTA train.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot twice in the back while inside of his home on the 6000 block of Walnut Street.

The suspect, a black man last seen wearing all black clothing, took off on the eastbound Market-Frankford train. Investigators say the victim and the suspect knew each other.

Police say the victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was placed in stable condition.
