SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Some state lawmakers are revisiting a plan to allow teachers to carry guns in schools.

"The principal that threw herself at the gun guy in Connecticut, that fixed nothing except it killed her," said Senator Mike Green.

"I don't think we want to turn our teachers into armed guards," said Senator Rebekah Warren.

But will the governor go along with the proposal that he just vetoed a few weeks ago?

Joining Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton on our panel to discuss are teacher Randy Vincent, Detroit Federations of Teachers President Keith Johnson and gun instructor Rick Ector.
