Guy Praisler was a passengers on an MTA bus on Manhattan's East Side when the driver passed out.
Praisler jumped to the steering wheel and took control, potentially preventing a catastrophe.
"I heard a big cough and then a second later I heard a woman yell what happened. A second later we hit a car. I jumped, grabbed the wheel and tried to steer us away from the cars. As I was keeping us in the middle of the road I was trying to squeeze my foot to get to the break. We were accelerating, I pulled his foot away and immediately the bus started to slow down until it came to a complete stop," Praisler told GDNY.
