You couldn't help but notice this week, that the workplace shooting happened at the very moment congressional hearings on gun violence were happening on Capitol Hill.

The issue of gun control is getting a lot of attention in Washington.

Whether it was this week's shooting in Phoenix, or two years ago in Tucson, people want an end to this kind of cowardly violence.

But there are real doubts whether anything Washington is talking about would work or if they're even headed in the right direction.
