Man dies after mobile home burns in Glendale - Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29

A man died in a fire that nearly burned a mobile home to the ground on Sunday morning.

Firefighters say a man in his mid-30s died after a home caught fire at a mobile home park near 48th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.

The man's girlfriend also lived at the home and was able to get out safely. Police say her boyfriend went back in to find the family dog, but never made it back out. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The man's name hasn't been released.

The dog was never found.
