Police in Tredyffrin Township have announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the robbery and kidnapping at a jewelry store last month.
Police say the incident happened on Thursday around 8:30 p.m. when a victim was taken from his Tredyffrin Township home and driven to Shuler's Jewelers in East Norriton Township.
Investigators say they have received leads in Montgomery and Chester counties. It appeared at least one of the suspects involved was interested in locating Rolex watches, according to investigators. Police say they are looking into other similar incidents in the region for persons of interest.
Police say are still looking for a white Volkswagen Passat that was used to take the man from his home to the store. The vehicle has a Pennsylvania registration of "DJM0696."
If you have any information, you're asked to call the Tredyfrrin Township Police Department at 610-647-1440.
According to police, the Pennsylvania Jeweler's Association donated $5,000 and the Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company donated $20,000 for the reward.
