McDonald's recognized several members of the FOX 5 and My9 family during the Black Media Legends and Trailblazers luncheon on Friday at The Plaza Hotel.
Mike Woods, a past honoree, was also one of the co-hosts.
My9 anchor Brenda Blackmon was honored as was FOX 5's Ed Harris and photographer Jimmie Mitchell.
It was McDonald's 12th year celebrating the accomplishments of African Americans in the media.

A new photo exhibit at an art gallery in Chelsea is drawing the ire of residents who are the artist's subjects, unknowingly. The artist, Arne Svenson, is reportedly taking the photos through their TriBeCa building windows. In some photos, the residents are bending over, sleeping and cleaning.
