Car Strikes Utility Pole Along Rt. 38

Police are investigating a serious accident where a car struck a utility pole in Burlington County Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened along Route 38 between S. Church Street and Mt. Laurel Road in the Moorestown-Lenola area.

Video from SkyFOX showed the car on its side against a utility pole. The pole was severely bent as crews worked to repair the electrical wires hanging above.

Police say the accident involved only one car.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
