Police are searching for three suspects involved in the robbery of Fishtown's York Street Pharmacy on Monday.
Police said that three men entered the pharmacy at 2334 East York Street on Monday, February 4th around 11 a.m. The first man pulled out a handgun and demanded money and narcotics from the person behind the register. The other men forced a patron to sit down away from the register, then took his cell phone and wallet.
After taking money from the register and various drugs, the three men ran from the store toward Cedar Street. One suspect fired a shot into the air as the group was running away, police said.
The suspects are described as black males, all wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black gloves and black half ski masks. One man had a handgun and was wearing blue jeans and Timberland boots.
Police advise not to approach the suspects if seen, but to immediately call 911.
