NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

If you're hoping to find love this Valentine's Day, here is what you can do to improve you odds.

Trulia conducted this study which breaks down where the singles are by ZIP code.

So men listen up. If you're a guy looking for love you should search the Upper East Side first. There are nearly two single women for every man.

If you are a single lady, you should move across the east river to long island city where there are almost one and a half single men for each girl.

Generally women tend to live in more upscale residential neighborhoods and men tend to flock to downtown areas because they are more convenient to their work places.

The study mentions if you are a single lady you should head downtown. More single men live in Battery Park City, Upper West Side, Soundview section of the Bronx, and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.

Other good spots for the single males are Baychester in the Bronx, Saint Albans in Queens, and East New York in Brooklyn.

New York ranks fourth among the areas with the most single women nationwide.

If you don't mind relocating, ladies, then Las Vegas and Honolulu top the list nationwide for single men.

Single men, you should move to Maryland, Washington, D.C., or Boston.
