Industry group's conclave provides fireworks shows

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - The skies above Lake Havasu City are ablaze, courtesy of the Western Pyrotechnic Association.

The industry group's Winter Blast at a racetrack at SARA Park off State Route 95 began Thursday night and runs through Sunday evening.

According to the Today's News Herald, Friday's scheduled activities included displays and product demonstrations not open for the public.

However, large public displays are planned Saturday and Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. MST.
