ATLANTA -

SKYFOX Traffic wants to help make your commute as painless as possible, and we need your help!  We're now using Waze, a FREE community-based traffic and navigation app for smartphones, that lets you contribute to our reports in real time!

Waze is available for Apple and Android devices.  It uses the GPS information from your phone to give you real-time traffic info, live road alerts, and even re-route you if an accident is causing problems up ahead.  You can help by reporting traffic jams you see on your drive -- hands free.  In addition, Waze gathers information about road conditions and speeds automatically from your phone, without you having to do anything.  That way you can stay safe behind the wheel.

Waze also helps you find the cheapest gas prices near you, and it can alert you to speed traps along your route.

Get started with Waze!

To get started, just download the Waze app for your Apple or Android device.  Then, join the SKYFOX Traffic group to become a part of our traffic team!  You can let us know about any traffic headaches out there, and we might even give you a shout out on Good Day!

For more information on how Waze works, click here for a guided tour of the app!

Does your summer road trip include mouth-watering stops at mom-and-pop eateries?  Ours does, and it'll be even better with the help of a new Southern Living book!
Off the Eaten Path: Second Helpings is dedicated to finding the best meals in the south-- and it features some great restaurants right here in north Georgia.  Good Day's Paul Milliken checked out two of those gems-- The Hil in Serenbe, and Weaver D's in Athens!  As usual, he didn't leave hungry.
