Flyers Forward Scott Hartnell Returns To Ice

PHILADELPHIA -

Flyers forward Scott Hartnell could be returning to the team for good in the next several days.

On Thursday, the forward hit the ice and skated for the first time since suffering a broken foot on January 22nd.

Hartnell says he expects to return to the team in 7-10 days.

On Wednesday, the Flyers managed to beat the Penguins, 6-5, in Pittsburgh. The team returned to Philadelphia Thursday for a game against the Panthers, marking the start of a home stretch to finish out the month.

    Tuesday morning will feature another round patchy fog. It will be a mild and muggy start with temps in the mid 60s for the city and around 60 for the suburbs.  Look for more clouds than sun with highs the low 80s. There could be a few spotty showers during the day.
