Earth Day Festival coming to Rochester this weekend

ROCHESTER, Mich. (WJBK) -

Shop, learn and celebrate at the Michigan Earth Day Festival from April 26 - 28.

The festival includes exhibits, attractions and activities all centered on celebrating local business efforts to make Earth green. Hybrid and electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, organic food areas and services such a yoga and massage will all be part of the festival. There is even a kids corner with exhibits, crafts, a rock climbing wall, a straw bale maze and more.

Admission is free and open to all ages.

The festival is open on Friday from 4-8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday includes a kickoff and awards ceremony at 7 p.m. and Saturday a parade and pep rally will take place at 11 a.m.

The Michigan Earth Day Festival will be in downtown Rochester at 300 Water Street.
