Police in Bensalem are searching for the man they say claimed to have a gun but never actually displayed it during a robbery at a tanning salon last week.
The robbery happened at the Island Sun Tanning Salon on the 5600 block of Bensalem Boulevard on February 19.
Police say the man implied he had a handgun, but never actually displayed it.
The suspect is described as a white man standing 5'8" tall and weighing 200 pounds. Police say he had facial hair and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on the left chest with blue jeans, black shoes and black gloves.
The suspect was last seen leaving the salon on foot towards the intersection of Bensalem Boulevard and New Falls Road.
