DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. -

A man was arrested in connection to a deadly hit-and-run from July, police in Delaware County announced Monday.

According to the Springfield Township Police Department and District Attorney Jack Whelan, Pacurie Huynh was arrested after a months long investigation.

The victim in the hit-and-run, Thomas Quercetti, was laid to rest Monday after he was taken off life support last week. Quercetti was hit by a car on State Road in Springfield over the summer.

At the time, investigators say a broken piece of glass found at the scene of the accident was all they had to go on.

If convicted, Huynh could face seven years in prison.

Thursday weather looks damp and stormy.  It will be mild and muggy to start with spotty showers early followed by afternoon and evening storms.  Highs in the upper 70s with winds out of the SW 5-10 mph. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.

This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
