JERSEY CITY, N.J. -
During a news conference in Jersey City Monday, Gov. Chris Christie didn't hold back when discussing how he felt about the nation's leaders in Washington D.C.
At one point in the news conference, the New Jersey governor blasted the leadership in Washington D.C., telling the crowd he had no idea what they were doing.
"If anybody in this room thinks they understand Washington D.C., please come on up, stand behind the podium and you give the answers," Christie, referring to the automatic budget cuts that went into effect Friday, said.
Clips from Christie's news conference were posted to his official YouTube page later Monday and were tweeted out through his official Twitter handle.
"I don't understand it, I don't understand why they haven't fixed it already," Christie said.
The New Jersey governor recommended leaders in Washington D.C. sit in a room and not leave until the nation's budget problems are fixed.
