CHICAGO (AP) -- Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa is out of the lineup against Colorado because of an upper-body injury.
Hossa was scratched just before Wednesday night's game against the Avalanche. The Blackhawks (20-0-3) were trying to extend their NHL record after earning at least one point in their first 23 games.
Hossa, who has 10 goals and eight assists, scored a goal Tuesday night in Chicago's 5-3 win over Minnesota.
