Employees of a Philadelphia Dunkin Donuts watched in shock as workers removed a car after it smashed through the front of the store Monday.

"I was totally in shock," said Natalie Wray as she surveyed the damage from a car going through a Dunkin Donuts in Roxborough Monday afternoon.

The store later released surveillance video that shows customers walking around and sitting down. It also shows people waiting in line at the counter as the car came barreling backwards through the front of the store.

A man fell backwards frightened by the sound. A woman grabs her child out of the way as pieces of glass fly in their direction.

"She came in and bought fruit," said Joseph Heim. He works next door at R&R Produce And Garden Center. He ran over to find the driver was one of his regular customers. Heim said she had just left his store.

"When she left she backed up and just hit the gas and never hit the brake and went right through it," said Heim.

The surveillance video also shows the driver get out the car and another woman getting a walker out the back seat for her.

"I told the whole bus hey look there's a car inside the Dunkin Donuts just sitting there," said Natalie Wray. She and her son were on a bus passing by after it happened.

"He said mommy I can see the menu," laughed Wray.

Police say the woman accidentally accelerated and will not be charged.

No one was hurt.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
