Knights of Columbus celebrate Pope Francis election

The Knights of Columbus, the largest fraternal organization of Roman Catholics is celebrating the election of Pope Francis and his personal connection to charity and helping the poor.
"We just think this great surprise is going to be one of many surprises from this pope. I believe this is going to energize Hispanics throughout the United States and the Americas. This is something that will change the church," said Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight.
Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina, a Jesuit, chose the name Francis in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, champion of the poor.
The primary tenet of the K of C is serving the underserved.
