PHILADELPHIA -
Police on Thursday released surveillance video of the car investigators believe struck a 14-year-old in the city's Wissinoming neighborhood and then took off.
The teenager, Kylie Givens, was seriously injured. On Sunday, her father told FOX 29 his daughter had to have her spleen removed.
Police say Givens was struck at the intersection of Cheltenham and Torresdale Avenue by a white vehicle.
In a separate hit-and-run, Kylie's sister, 10-year-old Sarah Givens, was struck by an SUV. Earlier this week, police made an arrest in connection to her case.
Police ask anyone with information to call the department at 215-686-TIPS (8477). You can also text your tip to police by typing PPD TIP or 773847.
