Michael Winslow ('Spaceballs', 'Police Academy'), man of 10,000 sound effects is in town to perform on Saturday March 16. The performance benefits the Michigan Fire House Museum, an attraction that works to enhance the appreciation of firefighting history through engaging and informative exhibits.
Throughout history, the role of firefighters has proven to be a difficult and sometimes dangerous occupation that involves saving lives, property and protecting the environment.
The museum is hosting its Annual Comedy Jam which will be live on the stage at the museum. Both performances feature Winslow showcasing his comedic talents. The shows are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., located at 110 W. Cross St. in Ypsilanti. Each show includes a cash bar and free valet parking. Tickets are $30 for general seating and $40 for premium seating. Due to the nature of the show, performances are open to mature audiences 18 years or older.

Winslow is also performing at West Bloomfield High School at 7 p.m. tonight to benefit the West Bloomfield Educational Foundation. Tickets are $25 per person. West Bloomfield H.S. is located at 4925 Orchard Lake Rd. The West Bloomfield Educational Foundation funds projects and programs in classrooms that support student achievement and maintain the high standards of education.
