NJ Transit Bans Alcohol On Trains For St. Patrick's Day Parade

If you plan to take New Jersey Transit to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City on Saturday, you won't be allowed to take alcohol with you.

No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on any train to and from New York City or Hoboken.

Last year, 16 people were arrested on NJT, including two people who were charged with aggravated assault against two conductors.
