Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

While the drinkers gear up for a bar crawl of St. Patty's Day proportions, not everyone is on board with that idea.

As crowds of holiday revelers make the rounds, it's kind of a "Catch 22." Some of the people who live and work near these pub crawls, they're not huge fans.

But you talk to businesses that take part in them, they're huge fans, and they say cheers to all the customers.

FOX 29's Omari Fleming chatted with local folks about this mobile drinking party and reported live Friday night from Old City.

Thursday weather looks damp and stormy.  It will be mild and muggy to start with spotty showers early followed by afternoon and evening storms.  Highs in the upper 70s with winds out of the SW 5-10 mph. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.

This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
