Dog's Cancer Fight Could Help Humans With Brain Tumors

A pit bull terrier named "Petey" may have something to teach us about brain cancer.
He's the first dog in the country to undergo an experimental treatment for brain tumors.
Five dogs had this treatment. Two, including Petey, are doing well.
If the researchers can duplicate Petey's results, they will ask the FDA for permission to begin clinical trials to test it in people with brain cancer.
FOX's Beth Galvin reports in the video above on why his breakthrough has doctors so excited.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.
The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday. That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.
By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain. It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
