The Philadelphia Police Department hopes the public will recognize the two men in just-released surveillance video from Monday mornings's robbery of a popular Manayunk restaurant.

The Couch Tomato Bistro, located on Rector Street, was the second location to be broken into within a 7-minute time span by the same two suspects.

These men initially broke into a Ridge Avenue Wash and Dry.   The men were scared off by an alarm system and fled the scene.

Minutes later, these men broke into the Couch Tomato Bistro.  They broke into cash registers and a safe.  They made of with an undisclosed amount of cash.

These men are described as follows:

Suspect #1: White male, 30-40 years-of-age, stocky build, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue and gray zip up jacket, blue jeans and black and white sneakers. This suspect also has an unknown tattoo on the back of his neck just at the hair line.

Suspect #2: White male, 20 years-of-age, thin build, unshaven with goatee, blue baseball cap, blue zip up hooded jacket, dark pants and black sneakers. This suspect also walks with a hitch in his step.

Their vehicle is described as a late-model possible Dodge custom conversion van.

Of you have any information on these suspects, please call 911.
