(FOX 11) Former LAPD Sgt. Peter Foster answered questions quietly and calmly on the witness stand in day two of an explosive racial discrimination lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles.

Specifically, the LAPD and Peter Fosters was squarely in the target of the plaintiff's attorney.

Earl Wright, an LAPD officer, says he was the victim of racism more that once from supervisors at the LAPD Central Division.

Foster, when asked on the stand if he used race to bully people, said "No." But when Foster was shown examples of what Wright said were racist pictures of himself posted at the station, Foster was asked is this misconduct. He answered "Yes."

I tried to talk to Foster as he left court -- but as you might imagine he had nothing to say, with his attorney shielding him from me. The only public comments from Wright are coming from the witness stand.

He testified that he was humiliated, degraded, and couldn't believe police officers used this type of language. Foster said he was treated like a gangster.

This is one of at least four lawsuits that may stem from a time when Wright was an officer in the LAPD Central division. It echoes a lot of great concerns over racism raised by ex-cop Christopher Dorner. But because Dorner turned into a crazed killer, a lot of people discounted what he said.
