Los Angeles, CA -

(FOX 11) She's probably best known as Justin Bieber's mom but Pattie Mallette is also an executive producer on the short film "Crescendo."

The movie is about a young pregnant woman who thinks about taking her unborn baby's life because she feels trapped with no place to go. Pattie talked very openly about how she could relate to the character because she'd felt that way while pregnant and lived in a pregnancy center.

She discussed how "Crescendo" speaks to women in very difficult circumstances and how she wants to raise money for pregnancy centers nationwide with special screenings. A million dollars has already been raised but the goal is ten million.

Pattie also talked about her relationship with Justin and how she still keeps a motherly eye on him even though he's on tour.
