Four people were given housing by the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania Sunday after a fire ripped through their home shortly after midnight.

Flames were first reported around 12:05 a.m. in a home on the 6000 block of Pine Street.

Firefighters say no one was injured and the fire was placed under control around 12:30 a.m.

The local Red Cross says the four victims of the fire were given housing, financial assistance for clothes and shoes and will also receive meals at the Red Cross House.
