Cops: Sicko busted in Bronx sex attacks

A suspect is under arrest in a series of sex attacks in the Bronx.

Police say they arrested Miguel Lopez, 33, of the Bronx on Wednesday in connection with four incidents dating back to February.

The sex assaults started on Feb. 24.  Police say that Lopez followed a 27-year-old woman walking to the train station.  Police say her grabbed her from behind, punched her repeatedly and then sexually assaulted her.

The second attack happened on March 24.  At about 3:30 a.m. police say Lopez grabbed a 27-year-old woman, pushed her to ground, repeatedly punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her.

Then, on March 30 at 9:30 p.m., police say Lopez displayed a box cutter, punched a 24-year-old in the face and sexually assaulted her.

In the most recent attack on March 31, police say Lopez followed a man and woman into a residential building at about 5:50 a.m.  Police say her robbed both of them at knife point and then followed the 40-year-old female victim to her apartment and raped her.

Lopez faces a slew of charges including robbery, weapons and sexual abuse.
