Police: Suspects Who Stole $1400 In Video Games Had Child With Them

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Police in Gloucester Township are looking for a man and a women who officers say stole more than $1,000 worth of video games from an area K-Mart with a child strapped inside their shopping cart.

The theft was reported Monday around 12:30 p.m. at the Kmart on Blackwood Clementon Road.

Police say the two suspects are seen on surveillance video walking into the store, dismantling a locked display case and then taking two Xbox 360 consoles, an Xbox Kinect and a Playstation 3.

The male suspect is seen dismantling the case while the woman keeps a lookout for employees police said.

Police say the suspects then pushed their cart to another aisle, took games from their boxes, covered them with a jacket in their cart and left the store.

According to investigators, the games and game consoles cost a total of $1,444.64.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

    The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

    Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

    It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.

    The Coast Guard have suspended an emergency search for a man who went overboard in a boat after he went missing. New Jersey State Police have identified him as 49-year old John J. Poltonowicz.
