Bucks Co. Man Accused Of Stealing From Kids' Athletic Association

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. -

A Bucks County man is accused of stealing money from an athletic association that provides sports leagues for children.

According to court documents, Robert Butts allegedly stole thousands from the Middletown Athletic Association.

Friends claim Butts was unemployed from 2010 to 2012, but was hired as the financial director for Lower Southampton Township in January 2012.

Court documents show the largest withdrawal was allegedly made a month after he started his job.

Butts was fired from his position in Lower Southampton and was arrested late last week.
