WADDELL, Ariz. -

Deputies are looking for a man who tried to abduct a little boy walking to school on Tuesday morning.

The boy was walking with his 10-year-old brother and a 12-year-old friend on their way to Mountain View Elementary school.

According to the boy, a suspect stopped his black Chevrolet Tahoe, got out and tried to grab him and put him inside.

The boy fought back while his brother and friend started throwing rocks at the suspect.

Deputies say the man drove off and the boys were able to get away safely.

The suspect is described as a black man with facial hair, medium build, wearing a blue and green shirt and jeans. He's reportedly driving a black Tahoe with a big dent, scratches and one door handle hanging off. It was last seen driving toward White Tanks Library.

Deputies are asking everyone in the area to keep an eye out for the Tahoe.

FOX 10's Mia Garcia reports.
