No bomb found after search of North High

PHOENIX -

Students at North High School were evacuated for a little over three hours Friday after a threat was called into the nurse's office.

Officers with bomb sniffing dogs didn't find any evidence of a bomb at North High School, near Thomas Road and 7th Street, during their search of the property.

Police have released limited details about the threat and have only said it was a man who called the office.

Students were evacuated to the athletic fields for about two and a half hours.

The school allowed parents to pick up their children if they wished.

This was the second bomb threat in two days. Administrators at Longview Elementary School received a call about a bomb threat on Thursday morning; no bomb was found.
