NORRISTOWN, Pa. -

Two children were taken to a hospital after a fire sparked inside of their Norrisown home Sunday. Family members tell FOX 29 the mom left the kids home alone.

Family members say the boys appear to be alright and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The fire sparked just before 1 p.m. inside a home on the 100 block of East Marshall Street. Firefighters say they had the fire under control minutes later.

According to the family, the mother is in police custody but police investigators will only say the case is under investigation.
