ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

The University of Michigan is alerting students to reports of suspicious behavior by a man in the North Campus Area.

In an alert sent out Wednesday, campus police say several female students have reported being approached by a man who told them they were pretty and asked for a date. In some instances, the man also attempted to kiss the women.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30s with a dark complexion or olive skin, a heavy accent and dark, shoulder-length hair.

The incidents were reported around Bursley, Baits and the North Campus Recreation Building.

Anyone with information is asked to contact U-M Police at (734) 763-1131.
