PHOENIX -

A motorcyclist died after a car failed to yield near 7th Street and Greenway Road on Saturday night.

Officers say a 16-year-old girl crashed her vehicle into a motorcyclist while trying to turn left.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Officers detained the 16-year-old girl.

The motorcyclist's name hasn't been released.
