Cicero mayor makes offer for Cubs move

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The mayor of Cicero has sent a letter to Cubs President Tom Ricketts asking Ricketts to consider a move to his city.

Larry Dominick writes that's been a lifelong Cub fan and his hero was Ron Santo. Dominick offers 50 acres for the Cubs to build a new stadium and says moving to Cicero would move the Cubs closer to a World Series.

Ricketts, however, may be signaling that the Cubs are in Wrigley Field to stay.
