SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

Gordon Ramsay paid a visit to Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale.

It's the only kitchen he walked out on, saying he couldn't help.

Did Ramsay's defeat hurt the restaurant or is any publicity good publicity?

Friday night on "Kitchen Nightmares," Gordon Ramsay said the owners of Amy's Baking Company were so bad, he headed straight for the door.

But the married couple says it was all sensationalized by the show, and now they say they are receiving death threats.

Screaming matches in the kitchen, owners cussing out customers and servers who don't take home the tips.

For chef Gordon Ramsay, things got so bad at Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale that he walked out in the season finale of "Kitchen Nightmares."

"After 100 kitchen nightmares, I met two owners I could not help, it is because they are incapable of listening," said Ramsay.

The show isn't allowing the owners to talk on camera, but FOX 10's Jessica Flores sat down with them to hear their side of the story.

Amy and Samy Bouzaglatell say the show got it wrong.

They say they don't yell at customers and the customers the night of the taping exaggerated problems.

On Saturday, Samy greeted some customers and turned others away.

He says he picks his customers, and the people who did end up eating seem to enjoy the food.

"I've been back 10 or 11 times, I love it, the second time today," said Debbie Hilcove.

But Marv Rousselow saw the episode and says even if the food was good, he wouldn't eat there.

"I wouldn't want to go any place and spend my money there if they treat the staff that way, and to also keep the tips, who does that? said Rousselow.

Hundreds of people are turning to social media to voice their anger.

On Yelp, people are saying things like "you are evil."

The owners say they are getting death threats.

Amy says she's not proud of her behavior on the show, but she hopes her food will speak for itself.

On Yelp, Amy's Baking Company now has just one and half stars out of five.

They say they are strong people and will find a way to keep their doors open.
