Miracle in Moore: Oklahoma tornado victim`s dog emerges from rubble

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Moore resident thought her dog did not survive the tornado that devastated the Oklahoma City suburb. But miracles do happen.

Barbara Garcia spoke to a CBS reporter explaining the game plan she had for her dog in the event of a tornado and gave a seasoned reaction to the fact that her home had been reduced to rubble.

"This is life in the big city, " Garcia said.

Then something unthinkable took place. Her dog, Cathy, slowly emerged from the debris as their camera rolled. Their happy reunion was broadcast live, as Garcia stooped to embrace the pup.

"Bless your little goody heart," Garcia cried.

The crew helped her pull Cathy from the rubble.

"I thought God just answered one prayer, to let me be okay. He answered both of them. Because this was my second prayer," Garcia said.
