Phoenix nurse wins Powerball's $1 million 2nd prize

PHOENIX -

A Phoenix nurse who won a $1 million 2nd prize in the Powerball drawing on May 11 has come forward.

Krista Crawley purchased her winning ticket from the QuikTrip located at 2450 E. Union Hills Drive in Phoenix. Crawley discovered she was a winner on Mother's Day, but waited to speak to a financial advisor to get "all her ducks in a row" before claiming the prize on Monday.

Crawley is planning to go on a family vacation and invest the rest of her winnings.

No one has claimed the two $1 million jackpots drawn on May 18, last weekend's record-breaking run, purchased in Chandler and Safford.
