Woman with dementia, diabetes missing from Orland Park

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A woman suffering from dementia, diabetes and short-term memory loss was reported missing from the Orland Square Mall in southwest suburban Orland Park Saturday night.

Daisy Wells Bright, 62, was reported missing by her son about 8 p.m. Saturday, according to a critical missing person alert issued by Orland Park police.

She was described as black, with a dark complexion and a large surgical scar on her arm.

Bright stands about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 180 pounds with brown eyes and an orange wig, police said.

She was last seen wearing a brown V-neck sweater and blue jeans, carrying a red purse.

Bright lives in the 4800 block of Castel Dargen Drive in Country Club Hills.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
