ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

The Red Cross is helping at least 20 people after all of them lost their homes Sunday to a fire in the Lehigh Valley.

The flames destroyed seven homes along Catasauqua Avenue.

Witnesses say they heard "popping" sounds just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

When they looked outside, they saw a porch on fire.

That fire quickly spread down the block, turning into a three-alarm blaze.

Investigators are looking into what sparked the flames.
